Designation of the Olympic Route Network
This consultation document seeks views on proposals for the roads to be included in the Olympic Route Network (ORN), to be designated by the Secretary of State for Transport by statutory instrument. The ORN will be a network of roads - primarily in London, but including links to venues outside London - to be used by athletes and Games officials during the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

The Pedal Bicycles (Safety) Regulations 2003 - Proposed amendments
Consultation on the new Regulations to replace the Pedal Bicycles (Safety) Regulations 2003. Changes are necessary following the adoption, by British Standards, of new European (EN) standards which refer to the construction requirements of certain types of pedal bicycles. The EN standards came into force from November 2006.

Local Transport Act 2008 - Consultation on impounding of illegally operated PSVs and HGVs
This consultation seeks views on draft regulations which VOSA propose as part of the implementation of the Local Transport Act 2008. The document sets out the proposal for a regime to enable VOSA to impound illegally-operated Public Service Vehicles (PSVs), as well as proposed amendments to the existing Goods Vehicle impounding regulations to align the two regimes.

Consultation on draft Guidance for Local Transport Plans
This document is draft statutory Guidance to support local authorities in producing Local Transport Plans. It applies to local authorities outside of London required to produce a Local Transport Plan under the Transport Act 2000, as amended by the Local Transport Act 2008. The first and second round of Local Transport Plans (LTPs) cover 2001-06 and 2006-11. This Guidance applies to all LTPs after these rounds and has effect until further guidance is produced.
